A NEW DREAM BUILT
To close an intense year of work and within the framework of its 65th anniversary, Cabaña Avicola Feller from Grupo Motta shared with the collaborators of the Cobise I High Biosafety Complex, professionals from the Cabaña and Calisa, representatives of universities and local authorities a tour of the facilities of the new complex and a fellowship dinner.
The new Cobise II Complex, which began its construction in October 2018, located in Conscripto Bernardi, has planned to start its production in a first stage in February, starting with a first batch of birds in Recria 1, production in the plant of food and after 21 weeks the batch will go into production, starting the cycle and with it the materialization of a mega investment in the north of Entre Ríos.
The only one of its kind in Latin America and with biosafety standards of international standards, it is located on 600 hectares of native forest, it is made up of 9 nuclei with 27 intelligent sheds and has a housing capacity of 30,000 birds each shed. The construction of the cores has a work progress of 95%.
COBISE II is also integrated with a Balanced Feed Plant with a production capacity of 5 tons/hours for internal consumption, with a construction progress of a 95%, a hatchery that will have a capacity of 2 million BB chicks. barbecues and the construction of entry and exit of the personnel called zero point for strict compliance with biosecurity measures stands out.
Regarding the social impact, the workforce in productive centers will employ 40 people, and adding the hatchery, food and complementary areas, it will generate work for more than 100 people. At this point, the president of Grupo Motta, Héctor Motta, stressed the importance of working on a new curricular profile, appealing for commitment and joint work with universities and local authorities, strategic allies to insert young people into the world of work. In addition, he stated, the roots of families seeking opportunities to develop in their community.
The profile of operators must be oriented towards the needs of the agricultural sector, electromechanical training, for the operational operation and maintenance required by the production warehouses, which have state-of-the-art equipment and technology for the sector.
As data to highlight, in terms of infrastructure, the production and rearing nuclei imply 65,000 covered m2 and the central warehouse 7,500 covered meters.
A dream, a reality, a future legacy that inspired the start of the first complex. Today, it is a goal achieved in two complexes that changed the isolated north of Entre Ríos, to project it to the world and change the fate of hundreds of families.
